A complete service kit for when your BMW's 6HP19 transmission Mechatronic unit is removed from the transmission, includes required replacement seals, filter/pan assembly, required fluid, and hardware to complete the service
Mechatronic issues are the most common source of performance problems associated with the 6HP transmission. The most basic source of performance issues starts with the seals which seal the Mechatronic unit to the body of the transmission. A leak or defect in these seals can cause a pressure loss which causes shift quality problems.
More advanced issues with the 6HP19 transmission stem from the Mechatronic unit itself. Solenoid failure and electronic issues are relatively common. In order to address either issue the Mechatronic will require removal and all seals will need to be replaced.
This kit has been designed to handle the most basic Mechatronic service to complete replacement. All hardware, seals, and filter/fluids are included to make for a pain free service of the 6HP19 Mechatronic unit.
